Blood Testing

At-home and clinic blood tests covering hormones, thyroid, cholesterol, iron and vitamin status — analysed by UKAS-accredited laboratories and reported against reference ranges, so you can see where you actually sit rather than guessing.

Choosing a panel
Single-marker panels answer one question cheaply. Testosterone, cholesterol, thyroid function, iron and ferritin and vitamin deficiency each target a specific symptom picture.
Broader panels are better value per marker when you want a baseline rather than an answer to one question. The male and female hormone panels cover a full endocrine profile, while the Ultimate Men’s and Ultimate Women’s Health checks add blood count, liver, kidney and metabolic markers.
For the widest picture, the Longevity and Athlete Performance panels go further into advanced cardiovascular and performance markers.

Home kit or clinic draw?
Home kits use a finger-prick sample you collect yourself and post back — convenient, and sufficient for most panels. Clinic options use a venous draw taken by a phlebotomist, which suits the largest panels where sample volume matters: both Ultimate Health checks are available as men’s and women’s clinic versions.

Why test at all
Symptoms that get blamed on age — fatigue, poor recovery, low mood, weight that will not shift — overlap heavily with thyroid dysfunction, low iron, vitamin D deficiency and shifting sex hormones. Those are measurable. Testing turns a guess into a number, and a number into something you can act on and re-test against later.
